To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Danshen Chuanxiongqin Injection(DSCXQ) in the treatment of orthopedic diseases. Methods:Data were extracted from the Hospital Information System(HIS) of 18 national Grade-Ⅲ Class-A hospitals, and there were 1 370 cases treated with DSCXQ.According to gender, age, and hospitalization conditions, the patients with orthopedic diseases treated with and without DSCXQ were matched at 1:1.A DSCXQ group(n=260) and a control group(n=260) were set up.The cured and improved were recoded as effective, and others, the invalid and dead were coded as ineffective. The effective rates of the two groups were evaluated. The propensity score was used to balance the confounding factors between the two groups, and the efficacy of the two groups in the treatment of orthopedic diseases was compared by Logistic regression analysis. Results:As revealed by Logistic regression analysis, there was a significant difference between the DSCXQ group and the control group in the treatment of orthopedic diseases(P<0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy in the DSCXQ group was superior to that in the control group. However, because this study is a real-world retrospective study, the propensity score cannot balance unknown confounding factors, resulting in certain limitations.Massive sample data are still required for more accurate analysis, which can provide references for clinical guidance of medication.
