Oxidative stress，one of the pathological mechanisms of ischemia reperfusion injury，atherosclerosis，coronary heart disease，heart failure，and other cardiovascular diseases，has proved to play a key role in heart failure，and the excess of reactive oxygen species is crucial in this process.This article reviews the mechanism of oxidative stress in heart failure and summarized the research in traditional Chinese medicine，which is expected to provide a new mindset for the development of anti-oxidative stress drugs in heart failure and targeted therapy.
