The pathogenesis of Sjogren syndrome(SS) is complicated.Currently，there is no specific treatment in western medicine.In traditional Chinese medicine，the mutual accumulation of dryness，toxin，and blood stasis is the key to the onset of this disease，and yang deficiency and stagnation are important links in its pathogenesis.“Heterozygous treatment” is the principle and method of treating diseases proposed in the Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic.Based on the understanding of the theory of “heterozygous treatment” and combining the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease，this paper introduced the comprehensive method of the internal use of Chinese medicine for warming yang to relieve dryness，toxin，and blood stasis and the external treatment with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) for activating yang to eliminate dryness，toxin，and bloodstasis，as well as the use of narrative medicine to treat SS，thereby achieving the purpose of physical and mental homology in patients with SS.
