In clinical work, medical staff can evaluate the overall conditions of patients through the patient-reported outcome measures(PROMs) and further adjust the treatment plan. This paper introduces the commonly used PROMs for lung cancer:seven lung cancer-specific scales(EORTC QLQ-LC13,FACT-L,LCSS,QLICP-LU,MDASI-LC,DDC,PQRS),five generic scales for cancer(FLIC,KPS,ECOG Performance Status Scale,CARES,RSCL),and two types of scales for symptoms of cancer patients(cancer-related fatigue, cancer pain). At the moment, there are various types of PROMs for lung cancer with a wide range of application. However, efforts should be made to strengthen the development of scale for postoperative symptoms of lung cancer.Meanwhile,a sound evaluation system for PROMs should be established to guide the application of the PROMs.
