Abstract:Infantile diarrhea is a digestive system disease characterized by increased fecal frequency and change of characteristics caused by multiple pathogens and factors, which is a leading cause of diseases and death in children and also an important cause of malnutrition in children. In recent years, with the improvement of nutrition and hygiene conditions as well as the increasing number of food types, the pathogenic spectrum and pathogenic factors of infantile diarrhea have also changed. At present, integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine has accumulated rich experience in the treatment of infantile diarrhea, but there is a lack of standard and evidence-based medical evidence in clinical practice. On the basis of relevant guidelines and research progress of Chinese and Western medicine in China and abroad, this consensus was formulated through literature survey, questionnaire survey and expert conference, which provided key clinical reference for the rational application of Chinese and western medicine in the prevention and treatment of infantile diarrhea. This consensus was a phased, comprehensive expert opinion, which would be constantly improved and updated with the emergence of new evidence-based medical evidence.
