To observe the clinical efficacy of Qinggan Sanjie Xiaoying Formula combined with selenium in the treatment of Hashimoto′s disease with normal thyroid function and provide evidence for the effectiveness of the treatment.Methods:A total of 118 Hashimoto′s disease patients with normal thyroid function admitted to the Thyroid Disease Department of Sunsimiao Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from January 1，2021，to October 31，2021，underlying complete treatment for at least three months with complete clinical data were retrospectively included and divided into a control group(n=40)，a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) group(n=40)，and a combined treatment group(TCM+selenium，n=38).The primary outcome indicators were thyroid-related autoantibodies and thyroid function，and the secondary outcome indicators included TCM syndrome score，thyroid disease symptom group，and changes in local symptoms of lower limbs.Results:After treatment，TPOAb，TGAb，TCM syndrome scores，HAMA scores，PSQI scores，FSS scores，and self-rating scores of lower limb lymphedema in the TCM group and the combined treatment group significantly decreased(all P<0.05)，and they were lower than those in the control group(all P<0.05).After treatment，there was no significant difference in TPOAb and TGAb between the TCM group and the combined treatment group(all P>0.05).Conclusion:Qinggan Sanjie Xiaoying Formula combined with selenium can effectively reduce the titer of thyroid autoantibodies and improve the clinical symptoms of patients with Hashimoto′s disease.
