The disease-syndrome combination model can simulate clinical conditions，which is the basis for diagnosis，treatment，and new drug development.Based on the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)，the present study retrospectively reviewed animal selection，establishment and evaluation system of the disease-syndrome combination model of tic disorder with spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity syndrome and explored the essence of this syndrome，aiming to establish an accurate disease-syndrome combination model in animals and standardize the application of TCM.
