To evaluate the efficacy of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in relieving the pain，reducing the inflammatory cytokines and improving movement of patients with knee osteoarthritis，so as to provide evidence-based reference for the clinical application and basic research of the formula.Methods:The China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)，China Science Periodical Database(CSPD)，Chinese Citation Database(CCD)，China Biology Medicine disc(CBMdisc)，Embase，PubMed and Cochrane Library were retrieved from the date of construction to March 2021 for the randomized controlled trials of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Meta analysis was conducted after quality evaluation was conducted on them one by one according to the Cochrane Collaboration Network standard.Results:According to the inclusion criteria，11 randomized controlled trials with 1,132 patients were included.Meta analysis showed that:in terms of the overall efficacy(RR=1.22，95%CI was 1.15 to 1.28，P=0.000); in reducing the level of inflammatory cytokines，interleukin-6(SMD=1.28，95%CI was 0.71 to 1.85，P=0.000)，tumor necrosis factor-α(SMD=1.12，95%CI was 0.81 to 1.42，P=0.000)，matrix metalloproteinase-3(SMD=26.10，95%CI was 9.72 to 42.48，P=0.002); in the improvement obstacle，visual analogue pain score(MD=1.60，95%CI was 0.97 to 2.24，P=0.000)，WOMAC score scale(MD=9.64，95%CI was 6.27 to 13.00，P=0.000)，incidence of adverse reactions(RR=3.63，95%CI was 1.72 to 7.62，P=0.0007).These results showed that the observational group was significantly better than the control group，and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:Duhuo Jisheng Decoction has a significant clinical effect in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis，which can effectively alleviate the joint pain，reduce the level of inflammatory cytokines in synovial fluid，and improve joint dysfunction，and thus is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
