To explore the risk factors of endpoint events in patients with diabetic kidney disease(DKD) and to analyze the protective effect of Bushen-Tongluo Method. Methods:A retrospective cohort study was conducted to collect the data of DKD patients who were regularly followed up for≥3 months and had a baseline estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR) of 15~90 mL/min·1.73 m2 in the Department of Nephrology and specialized outpatient departments of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Capital Medical University from January 2015 to December 2019.Entering the phase 5 of chronic kidney disease(CKD),renal replacement therapy or death were the primary endpoint events, and progression of CKD was the secondary endpoint event. Results:A total of 123 patients with DKD were followed up for a median of 12(3~48) months, and 81 patients(65.9%) entered the endpoint events.Multivariate Cox analysis showed that low baseline eGFR,heart failure, and rhabdomyolysis were risk factors for endpoint events, while Bushen-Tongluo Method was the protective factor. The incidence of endpoint events in the Bushen-Tongluo group was significantly lower than non-Bushen-Tongluo group(P<0.05),which were 61.1% and 82.1%,respectively.The endpoint events risk in the Bushen-Tongluo group was 0.530(95%CI was 0.305 to 0.921,P<0.05).Conclusion:Low baseline eGFR,heart failure and rhabdomyolysis are the risk factors for endpoint events in DKD patients, while Bushen-Tongluo Method can reduce the risk of endpoint events in DKD patients.
