To screen the differential components in Herba Ardisiae Japonicae of different origins by the ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography(UPLC),and to construct a method for the determination of bergenin and quercetin to explore the dissemination of quantity value between decoction pieces and standard decoctions. Methods:Standard decoction of Herba Ardisiae Japonicae was prepared. The UPLC chromatogram and the content determination method were established to determine 17 batches of Herba Ardisiae Japonicae samples from different producing areas.Discriminant analysis and entropy-weighted TOPSIS method were performed to evaluate the samples and screen the differential compounds, and the contents of two components were measured. Results:Four components were identified, and the screened differential compounds in Herba Ardisiae Japonicae of different origins were peak 2,peak 4(bergenin),and peak 5(myricitrin).In the standard decoction, the average contents of bergenin and quercetin were 4.53% and 0.57%,respectively,and the average transfer rates were 63.05% and 57.31%,respectively,indicating good dissemination of quantity value. Conclusion:In this study,UPLC chromatogram combined with multi-index content determination was used to evaluate the dissemination law of quantity value between Herba Ardisiae Japonicae from different producing areas and its standard decoctions, and achieves scientific and reasonable results. This study provides a reference for the quality control and evaluation of Herba Ardisiae Japonicae and its standard decoction.
