To investigate the effects of electroacupuncture+Tongbining on the expression of interleukin-32(IL-32) and prostaglandin 2(PGE2) in the serum of patients with endometriosis(EMS).Methods:A total of 80 women with dysmenorrhea due to EMS treated in the Department of Gynecology，the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from May to December in 2019 were included in this study and randomly assigned into two groups(n=40) according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with placebo acupuncture+Tongbining，and the observation group with electroacupuncture at fixed acupoints+Tongbining.The expression levels of IL-32 and PGE2 in the serum before and after 3 months of treatment were determined and compared.Results:After treatment，the levels of IL-32 and PGE2 declined significantly in the observation group and were different between groups(P<0.05).The dysmenorrhea in both groups was alleviated，and the therapeutic effect of the observation group was superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Electroacupuncture+Tongbining has positive effects on the serum levels of IL-32 and PGE2 in the patients with dysmenorrhea due to EMS.Electroacupuncture can relieve dysmenorrhea in the patients with EMS and is of great significance for clinical treatment.
