Paraplegia is a common complication of spinal cord injury，which brings a great burden to patients' life and economy，and seriously affects their physical and mental health.However，there is no definitive treatment in clinical practice.In recent years，it has been found that acupuncture and moxibustion therapy has a definite effect on the treatment of paraplegia after spinal cord injury，but the mechanism is still unclear.This paper summarized the mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy for paraplegia after spinal cord injury in recent years to provide a basis for clinical application.
