To optimize the conditions for extracting polysaccharides from Cistanches Herba produced in Inner Mongolia with hot water. Methods:With the yield of polysaccharides extracted from Cistanche Herba as the response value, single factor tests were carried out to identify the significant influencing factors, which were then optimized by response surface methodology. Results:The results showed that the yield of polysaccharides was the highest(11.207%) when the extraction was conducted with the liquid-to-solid ratio at 45:1(mL:g) at 100 ℃ for 130 min and the ethanol concentration of 100% for precipitation. The yield obtained under these conditions was close to the predicted value of 11.609% by response surface methodology. Conclusion:It is proved by experiments that the optimal conditions for extracting polysaccharides from Cistanches Herba produced in Inner Mongolia by response surface methodology are reasonable and reliable, which can provide a reliable basis for the industrial production.
