Ethnic medicine，an important part of traditional Chinese medicine，has its unique theoretical system and treatment characteristics during the continuous development，with similarities and differences in the clinical application of medicinal materials.The ethnic herbal medicine Choerospondiatis Fructus was first recorded in the classic Tibetan medicine book Yue Wang Yao Zhen，and then introduced into Inner Mongolia.It is now widely used in the clinical medicine of Tibetan，Mongolian，Zhuang and other ethnic groups.On the basis of the textual research，this paper compared the traditional application of Choerospondiatis Fructus in different ethnic medicine.Furthermore，this paper summarized the chemical components，quality control，pharmacological effects，clinical application，and modern product development and utilization of this herbal medicine.It is proposed that further systematic and in-depth research should be carried out on its quality control，pharmacological effects，and pharmacodynamic material basis，with a view to promoting the clinical application，expanding the application scope，and facilitating the research and development of new products of Choerospondiatis Fructus，which will enrich the scientific connotation of moving qi，activating blood，nourishing heart，and tranquilizing mind in ethnic medicine.
