To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Chinese patent medicine combined with Western medicine in the treatment of diastolic heart failure(DHF) by using network meta-analysis.Methods:The randomized controlled trials(RCTs) of the treatment of DHF with Chinese patent medicines were retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)，China Science Periodical Database(CSPD)，Chinese Citation Database(CCD)，PubMed，Embase，and Cochrane Library with the time interval from the inception to November 2020.The quality of the included literature was evaluated by the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool.RevMan5.3 and Stata13.0 were used for the meta-analysis.Results:A total of 39 RCTs were included in this study，involving 7 Chinese patent medicines and 3 668 cases.The results of network meta-analysis showed that in terms of therapeutic effectiveness，Yangxin Tablets was the most likely to be the best intervention，followed by Qishen Yiqi Dropping Pills.In terms of recovering the E/A ratio，Nuanxin Capsules were the most likely to be the best intervention，followed by Yangxin Tablets.Conclusion:Combining oral Chinese patent medicine with conventional Western medicine can improve the therapeutic effect on DHF.
