The detection of pulmonary nodules has been increasing year by year, but there is still a lack of early intervention measures for malignant nodules. In traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),malignant nodules belong to the category of “controlling development of existing disease” in “treating disease before its onset”,and was understood mainly from the perspective of combined phlegm and blood stasis in the lung. However, little is known about the subtle, single, multiple and indefinite occurrence of malignant nodules. In this paper, the main pathogenesis of pulmonary nodules was discussed based on the sweet pore-collateral diseases caused by the imbalance of qi movement.According to the theory of regulating qi and removing toxin by Professor Hua Baojin, this paper proposed the treatment ideas of regulating qi,reinforcing healthy qi,opening sweet pores, dredging collaterals, expelling phlegm and removing blood stasis to eliminate subtle evils.
