To observe the effect of Fuzheng Quxie Yangyin Decoction supplemented with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) of qi-yin deficiency. Methods:A total of 120 patients with advanced NSCLC who were treated in the Maanshan General Hospital of Ranger-Duree Healthcare between January 2020 and September 2021 were selected and divided into control group(60 cases, docetaxel+cisplatin chemotherapy) and observation group(60 cases,Fuzheng Quxie Yangyin Decoction on the basis of control group) according to the random number table. The short-term efficacy, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) symptom scores, tumor markers [serum carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),cytokeratin fragment antigen 21-1(CYFRA21-1),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)],immune function [proportions of natural killer cell(NK),cytotoxic T cell(Tc) and regulatory T cell(TreGs)],quality of life [Karnofsky Performance Status Scale(KPS) score],adverse reactions,1-year progression-free survival time,progression-free survival rate and 1-year overall survival rate were compared between the two groups. Results:There were no differences in the disease control rate,1-year progression-free survival time,progression-free survival rate and 1-year overall survival rate between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, differences were found in the TCM symptom scores, tumor markers(CA125,CYFRA21-1,CEA),immune function(proportions of NK,Tc and Treg) and KPS score between observation group and control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions(gastrointestinal reactions, bone marrow suppression, abnormal liver function) in observation were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Fuzheng Quxie Yangyin Decoction combined with chemotherapy can relieve the clinical symptoms, reduce tumor markers, improve the immune function, and lower adverse reactions in the treatment of patients with advanced NSCLC of qi-yin deficiency.
