Effect of Scalp Acupuncture Combined with Filiform Fire Needling at Back Transport Points on Limb Function Recovery in Hemiplegia Patients Due to Cerebral Infarction
To explore the effect of scalp acupuncture combined with filiform fire needling at back transport points on limb function recovery in hemiplegia patients due to cerebral infarction.Methods:A total of 120 hemiplegia patients due to cerebral infarction who were treated in Guangxi Hospital for Nationalities from January 2020 to May 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table,with 60 cases in each group.All patients were given routine rehabilitation training.The control group was treated with scalp acupuncture,while the observation group received scalp acupuncture combined with filiform fire needling at back transport points.The treatment lasted for 30 d.The efficacy and limb function [Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA),Barthel Index(BI)],quality of life [Stroke Specific Quality of Life(SS-QOL)] and safety were evaluated,and the levels of neurotrophic factors [nerve growth factor(NGF),brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),neurotrophin-3(NT-3)] and peak venous blood flow velocity were detected.Results:The total effective rate in observation group was 93.33%,higher than 80.00% in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the FMA upper limb score,FMA lower limb score,BI score and serum levels of NGF,BDNF and NT-3 in both groups were increased(P<0.05),and the above scores and levels in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The peak blood flow velocities of brachial vein,radial vein and femoral vein were enhanced in the two groups(P<0.05),and the velocities in observation group were greater than those in control group(P<0.05).The SS-QOL scores in observation group after 15 and 30 d of treatment were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusion:Scalp acupuncture combined with filiform fire needling at back transport points has an exact effect in the treatment of hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction,which can promote the limb function recovery of patients and enhance their quality of life.
