By analyzing the prescription of Professor LYU Renhe in treating diabetes by stages，this paper explored the related medication law of Professor LYU in the staging treatment of diabetes with traditional Chinese medicine for spleen and stomach meridians.Methods:The frequency analysis，association rule analysis，and cluster analysis were carried out by collecting the prescriptions of Professor LYU Renhe for diabetes.Results:A total of 285 medical records were included，with six involving the Pidan stage，70 involving the Xiaoke stage，and 209 involving the Xiaodan stage.Frequency analysis found that the top five frequencies of traditional Chinese medicine for spleen and stomach meridians in the three stages were Pidan stage：Scutellaria，raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，Artemisiae Scopariae Herba，Radix Astragalus，and Paeoniae Radix Alba; Xiaoke stage：raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，Paeoniae Radix Alba，Fructus Aurantii，Aurantii Fructus Immaturus，and Rhizoma Anemarrhenae; Xiaodan stage：Pseudostellariae Radix，Aurantii Fructus Immaturus，raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，Radix Astragalus，and Angelica.Association rules of drugs with high use frequency in the Xiaoke and Xiaodan stages were analyzed，and six combinations of traditional Chinese medicine for spleen and stomach meridians were obtained during the Xiaoke and Xiaodan stages.After cluster analysis，four combinations of traditional Chinese medicine for spleen and stomach meridians during the Xiaoke stage and five combinations of traditional Chinese medicine for spleen and stomach meridians during the Xiaodan stage were obtained.Conclusion:Professor LYU Renhe pays attention to the recovery of the spleen and stomach and the function of reducing movement in the treatment of diabetes by stages and adopts the method of regulating and replenishment.The selection and compatibility of traditional Chinese medicine for spleen and stomach meridians in different stages have their own characteristics.
