Fuxie theory originated in the Huangdi Neijing and was founded in the Han,Jin,Tang, and Song dynasties, and it became matured in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Fuxie(or latent evils) has chivalrous and broad senses.According to the pathogenic characteristics of latent evils without an attack, the conflict between positive and evil factors, and endogenous evil,it is found that Fuxie is consistent with the pathogenic characteristics of many infectious diseases in the clinic. Therefore,Fuxie theory can be widely used in infectious diseases(such as viral infectious diseases, bacterial infectious diseases, and other infectious diseases),so as to guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment of these diseases, and the curative effect is remarkable.
