To analyze the clinical characteristics of acupoint selection in acupuncture for coronary heart disease by reviewing relevant randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Methods:The RCTs on acupuncture for coronary heart disease that were published from January 1 to October 1 in 2020 were retrieved.A retrospective analysis was performed to summarize the rules of acupoint selection，acupoint distribution，meridian tropism，acupoint compatibility，and acupuncture methods.Results:A total of 45 articles were included，involving 3 866 cases.In the treatment of coronary heart disease，the acupoints on the pericardium meridian，bladder meridian，and conception vessel were most commonly selected，such as Neiguan(PC6)，Danzhong(CV17)，Xinshu(BL15)，Zusanli(ST36)，and Shenmen(HT7)，which were mainly located on the extremities.The specific acupoints were mainly five transport points and collateral acupoints.Neutral reinforcement and reduction was the main acupuncture method.Conclusion:This paper summarizes the characteristics of acupoint selection for coronary heart disease based on the available articles，providing a reference for acupoint selection in clinical treatment.
