To observe the clinical effect of Cai's Bushen Tianjing Formula on diminished ovarian reserve(DOR) in the patients with the syndrome of liver-kidney yin deficiency.Methods:A total of 60 DOR patients with the syndrome of liver-kidney yin deficiency treated in the Department of Gynecology，Xiyuan Hospital，China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences from September 2018 to December 2020 were enrolled in this study.They were assigned by the stratified block randomization method into a class(n=30) with decreased ovarian reserve and a class(n=30) with premature ovarian failure.Further，patients in each of the two classes were assigned into two groups，with 20 patients in the observation group(Cai's Bushen Tianjing Formula) and 10 patients in the control group(estradiol valerate tablets/ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate tablets).All the patients received treatment for 3 menstrual cycles.The TCM syndrome scores，levels of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)，luteinizing hormone(LH)，estradiol(E2)，and anti-Müllerian hormone(AMH) in the serum，antral follicle counting(AFC)，average bilateral ovarian volume，and resistance index of ovarian interstitial blood flow were determined before and after treatment.Results:In the observation group，the levels of FSH and LH decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05)，while there was no statistically significant difference in E2 or AMH level before and after treatment(P>0.05).The TCM syndrome scores in the observation group and the control group decreased after treatment，and the TCM syndrome efficacy in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01).Other serological and ultrasound indicators showed no significant differences between the observation group and the control group as well as between before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Cai's Bushen Tianjing Formula can significantly alleviate the clinical symptoms and regulate the level of sex hormones of DOR patients，which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
