To collect and sort out the ancient prescriptions for migraine in the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescriptions,and excavate the prescription and age laws,to provide reference for the clinical treatment of migraine.Methods:The prescriptions that met the standards were screened from the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine and entered into the Ancient and Modern Medical Records Cloud Platform.The types of herbal medicines,four qi,five flavors,meridian tropism and efficacy frequency in different ages were counted.Complex network analysis and association analysis were used to mine the core Chinese herbal medicines and herb associations in migraine treatment.Results:A total of 266 prescriptions were screened out,involving 337 Chinese herbal medicines.Although the prescriptions varied in different dynasties,they were all warm,bitter or pungent and acted on the lung,liver.or spleen.Among them,the most core herbs were Rhizoma Chuanxiong,Radix Saposhnikovia and Radix Angelicae Sinensis,and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae,Radix et Rhizoma Asari,Radix Saposhnikovia and Rhizoma Chuanxiong were commonly combined.Conclusion:Different prescriptions were applied in migraine treatment by ancient physicians in different ages,but with the same prescription ideas including nature,flavor,and meridian tropism.From Han and Tang Dynasties to Qing Dynasty,the treatment was carried out from dispelling wind,activating blood,and relieving pain based on liver.This paper provide key reference for the modern clinical treatment of migraine.
