To explore the correlation between TCM syndrome elements and cognitive function in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:A total of 94 patients with CHF and mild cognitive impairment(MCI) admitted to Dongfang Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from May 2021 to March 2022 were selected as subjects. The general information of the patients was recorded, and the cognitive function of the patients was evaluated by the montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA) scale. Finally, the TCM syndrome elements and each cognitive function were compared. Results:Patients with qi deficiency syndrome had lower visuospatial and executive ability scores, the patients with blood stasis syndrome had lower MoCA total scores, attention and calculation ability scores, and patients with phlegm turbidity syndrome had lower MoCA total scores, delayed recall and abstract thinking scores. Conclusion:Patients with qi deficiency syndrome are more likely to have a decline in visuospatial and executive ability, patients with blood stasis syndrome are more likely to have a decline in attention and calculation ability, and patients with phlegm turbidity syndrome are more likely to have a decline in delayed recall and abstract thinking ability.
