Neuroinflammation is very important in the pathological development of various neurological disorders.A certain degree of neuroinflammation can promote nerve repair after brain injury,but excessive pathological neuroinflammation is an important reason that leads to secondary brain injury and affects the recovery of nerve function.Clinical and experimental researches have shown that moxibustion can regulate the polarization state of glial cells after brain injury,down-regulate the expressions of inflammatory factors and related pathways,inhibit the generation of inflammasome and cell apoptosis,and reduce the permeability of blood brain barrier,which may be the common mechanism of moxibustion's anti-inflammatory effect in different brain diseases.Therefore,this article summarizes and analyzes the pathway and mechanism of moxibustion in inhibiting neuroinflammation,which helps to better understand the central effect of moxibustion and promote its clinical application and transformation.
