By collecting and analyzing medical records of hospitalized patients who have used Anshen Buxin Liuwei Pill(Jiruhe-6),we will preliminarily select the clinical indications and limit the scope of treatment for precise clinical positioning. Methods:The hospital information systems(HIS systems) of three hospitals, namely International Mongolian Hospital of Inner Mongolia,Xilingol League Mongolian Medical Hospital, and Hohhot Mongolian Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, were used to select the basic information, diagnostic data, and medication records of all hospitalized patients who used Anshen Buxin Liuwei Pill from January 1,2015,to December 31,2019.The collected information was organized and cleaned, and descriptive analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel 2019.Association rule analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0.Results:A total of 5 796 medical records were collected, with 4 524 records meeting the standardization criteria after data cleaning.Among them,41.95% were male and 58.05% were female.Patients aged 40 and above accounted more than 90%,with the majority falling in the 51 to 70 age range. The main diseases treated were cerebral infarction, hypertension, and coronary heart disease. The main symptoms treated included dizziness, headache, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and palpitations. The primary syndromes included excessive He-Yi pattern, deficient Xi-La pattern, and deficient Blood pattern. The medication was mainly taken in the morning and evening, and was often used in combination with Zhenbao Pill. The results of association rule analysis showed that the most common combination of two Mongolian medicines was Zhenbao Pill and Tanxiang Sanwei Decoction. Conclusion:The clinical indications of Anshen Buxin Liuwei pill include dizziness, headache, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. The advantageous Western medical conditions for treatment are cardiovascular diseases combined with mental and psychological disorders, while the advantageous Mongolian medical conditions are He-Yi pattern(a Mongolian term similar to Qi) with Xila disorder in heart-Heyi disease, demonstrating the treatment advantages of “harmonizing both the heart and the heart” and “treating the heart and the brain simultaneously”.
