Abstract:Moringa spp.leaf is an Indian traditional herb widely recognized for its health benefits,including lowering blood sugar and lipids,antioxidant,diuretic,improving sleep,enhancing immunity,anti-aging,and anti-tumor effects.Legally introduced into China,Moringa spp.leaves have garnered increasing research and application due to their confirmed pharmacological activities and non-toxic properties.However,they lack standardized classification in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),with only limited medicinal properties documented.To maximize their therapeutic value and facilitate their integration into TCM,it is crucial to establish their medicinal properties.This study proposed a research strategy for transforming exotic herbs into recognized TCM components through literature review,theoretical exploration,property validation,and clinical practice.Using clinical application as the basis and experimental research as a reference,the in-depth exploration of the properties and functions of exotic Chinese medicine Moringa spp.leaves has significant implications for standardizing its application.
