To apply magnetic molecular imprinting technique for the specific adsorption and isolation of gentianoside from the uric acid-lowering Chinese medicine Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix. Methods:Magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers(MIPs) of gentianoside were prepared using gentianoside as the template molecule, methacrylic acid(MAA) as the functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EGDMA) as the cross-linker,azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN) as the initiator, and methanol as the porogenic agent. The materials were characterized using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The adsorption performance was evaluated by plotting kinetic adsorption curves and static isotherms. Results:The magnetic MIPs of gentianoside was successfully synthesized, and reached the adsorption equilibrium after shaking for 60 min.The adsorption capacity for gentianoside extracted and separated from Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix was 6.316 mg/g.Conclusion:Gentianoside in the uric acid-lowering Chinese medicine Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix can be specifically captured by magnetic MIPs of gentianoside.
