Type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disease with an increasing incidence in recent years.Despite the availability of various treatment methods,the number of T2DM cases and related complications continues to rise.Increasingly,research has found that the gut microbiota plays a crucial role in the development and progression of T2DM.An imbalance in the gut microbiota of T2DM patients leads to a disruption in microbiota diversity and stability.Massage has been found to effectively regulate the gut microbiota,contributing to the treatment of T2DM.
