To investigate the auxiliary role of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) diagnostic equipment in constitution identification for preventive treatment through literature research.Methods:A statistical study was conducted on literature from January 2002 to July 2023.Relevant literature was imported into Note Express to establish a literature database，and eligible papers were recorded in an Excel 2019 spreadsheet to create a TCM constitution identification literature database.The use of infrared thermography，tongue diagnostic devices，pulse diagnostic devices，and facial diagnostic instruments was summarized.Results:Different constitution types showed significant differences in temperature at various body parts，tongue characteristics，pulse indicators，pulse features，and facial characteristics(P<0.05).These diagnostic tools，including infrared thermography，tongue diagnostic devices，pulse diagnostic devices，and facial diagnostic instruments，can collect corresponding physiological data from participants to assist in constitution identification.Conclusion:The use of TCM diagnostic equipment can reduce bias caused by subjective judgments of doctors during constitution identification，which can promote the systematization and standardization of constitution identification，thereby providing more precise health and treatment recommendations for preventive care.
