Post-stroke cognitive impairment(PSCI) is classified as a type of vascular cognitive impairment and is one of the main factors contributing to the loss of independence in stroke patients.PSCI includes post-stroke mild cognitive impairment and post-stroke dementia.Clinicians should be vigilant about the occurrence of PSCI and guide patients to actively prevent it in order to improve prognosis.Early diagnosis and intervention of PSCI are of significant importance in delaying the progression to post-stroke dementia and improving the quality of life of patients.Acupuncture has shown good efficacy in the treatment of PSCI.
