Abstract:To observe the clinical application of Xiaozhang Plaster in the treatment of patients with functional dyspepsia(FD) of spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation.Methods:A total of 124 FD patients admitted to the south area of Guangf Guan Hospital,China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences from July 2019 to July 2021 were selected as research subjects.They were randomly divided into an observation group(n=61) and a control group(n=63).The observation group was treated with Xiaozhang Plaster,and the control group was treated with mosapride orally for four weeks.They were followed up for one month after treatment.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) symptom score,gastrointestinal hormone level,gastric emptying rate,hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS) points,medical outcomes study 36-item short from health survey(SF-36) points,and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Results:Compared with those in that control group,the patients in the observation group had more obvious improvement in terms of gloms and oppression in the stomach duct or distending pain and distention,anorexia,sallow complexion,and loose stool,as well as total symptom score,gastrin,gastric emptying rate,HADS points,and SF-36 points(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Xiaozhang Plaster can enhance gastrointestinal motility,reduce clinical symptoms,and improve anxiety,depression,and quality of life of patients with FD of spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation.According to the recent follow-up,the efficacy of the observation group may be more durable than the control group.
