Clinical Research Progress on Toxicity-reducing and Efficacy-enhancing Effect of Chinese Medicine Combined with Radiotherapy in the Treatment of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) is the most common subtype of lung cancer, with both incidence and mortality rates ranking among the highest in the world.Radiotherapy is one of the key treatment options for NSCLC,but the presence of radiation resistance and the adverse events caused by radiotherapy severely impact its effectiveness and progression.Increasing evidence suggests that the combination of Chinese medicine and radiotherapy in the treatment of NSCLC offers synergistic benefits of enhancing efficacy and reducing toxicity,i.e.,enhancing anti-tumor effects while reducing treatment-related side effects.
