Diagnosis and Treatment Approach for “Qi and Vessel Regulation and Treatment” in Coronary Heart Disease Based on the Theory of “Qi and Vessel Constant Flow”
To establish a novel approach for integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease(CHD),this study extends the principles of Huangdi's Internal Classic(Huang Di Nei Jing) to propose the “qi-vessel constant flow” theory. This theory emphasizes the importance of maintaining the smooth and stable circulation of qi,blood, and vessels to ensure an orderly heart-blood-vessel system, which is crucial for CHD diagnosis and treatment.Considering the variations in CHD treatment across different stages, the study further develops the “qi and vessel regulation and treatment” approach based on this theory.Specifically,in the preclinical stage, emphasis is placed on regulation and nourishment, ensuring the concurrent support of qi,blood, and vessels. In the early stage, harmonization is prioritized to jointly prevent imbalances.During the acute phase, treatment focuses on targeted intervention, integrating qi,blood, and vessels. In the recovery phase, the goal is stabilization, promoting overall cardiovascular health.
