With the sharp increase in the incidence of depression and anxiety worldwide,it has become particularly important and urgent to pay attention to the rehabilitation methods for depression, anxiety, and other emotional disorders.Since ancient times, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has adopted breath-regulating techniques such as Qigong and Liuzijue for health maintenance and rehabilitation training.TCM breath-regulating is a commonly used relaxation training method that involves “breathing in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth” and other breathing exercises. This method can strengthen the body's functions by stimulating the movement of different qi,blood, meridians, and zang-fu organs to improve physical and mental states, playing a positive role in regulating emotions. This study analyzed relevant domestic and international literature on breath training interventions for emotional disorders of depression and anxiety in the past ten years, aiming to provide a basis for individuals with depression and anxiety to regulate their emotions independently and provide references for relevant scholars to develop precise and effective clinical breath-regulating intervention strategies.
