International Cooperation provides a preferable means for globalization of Chinese medicine. In spite of the long time interests and research, the international academia differs from their Chinese counterparts in such aspects as research objectives, project sources, as well as motivation and initiative. A deep understanding of these differences will smooth application of suited methodology and projects for transnational cooperation which may come either from “stock of family property” or classic record or clinical experience.
