to observe clinical effect and mechanism on the method of kidney benefiting, blood activation and toxin removal for Chronic Glomerulonephritis (CGN). Method:80 confirmed CGN patients were randomly and equally divided to treated group and control group. The treated group was given Yitai CGN Capsule and CGN rehabilitation decoction orally under guidance of the method. The control group was orally taken glomerulonephritis Siwei Tablets and Liuwei Dihuang Tablets. Results:Of the treated group, total effective rate was 92.5% and 31 cases were of complete or preliminary remission (77.5%); total effective rate of the control group was 67.5%, and 20 cases were of complete or preliminary remission (50%). Two groups were significantly different in this regard (P<0.05). Conclusion:To achieve the therapeutic effect in terms of renal tissue repair, Haemproteins rise and cholesterin reduction, the method may have worked on stability of internal environment and reduction of pathological damage to filter membrane of glomerular capillary.
