| The theory of guiding medicinals， based on channel tropism theories and closely related to formulary theories， have a wider scope than that of the general theories of channel tropism of medicinals. Guiding medicinals is a collective term for those altering other medicines' action tropism or sites， or direct all other medicines to act on one particular point， or leading qi， blood or pathogen. |
