To investigate the treatment effect and its mechanism of Hairy Antler Liquid on CHF by discovering its impact on apoptosis of cadiocyte， expression ofⅠcollagen and Ⅲ collagen.Methods:SD rats with chronic heart failure established by coronary artery ligature were randomly divided to high-dose Hairy Antler Liquid group， middle-dose group， low-dose group， Captopril group， model group and blank group intervened with relevant measures， and observed for apoptosis of cadiocyte， Ⅰcollagen and Ⅲ collagen in cardiac muscles.Results:Compared with those of the model group， all indices of each treatment groups were significantly different (P<0.05). Both being significantly better than other treatment groups in all indices (P<0.05)， middle-dose and Captopril group were not significantly different from each other (P>0.05)， while the high-dose group was better than low-dose group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Inhibiting left ventricular remodeling by reducing apoptosis of cadiocyte， and expression ofⅠcollagen and Ⅲ collagen， Hairy Antler Liquid is of promising clinical application.
