To investigate the treatment effect and its mechanism of Hairy Antler Liquid on CHF by discovering its impact on apoptosis of cadiocyte, expression ofⅠcollagen and Ⅲ collagen.Methods:SD rats with chronic heart failure established by coronary artery ligature were randomly divided to high-dose Hairy Antler Liquid group, middle-dose group, low-dose group, Captopril group, model group and blank group intervened with relevant measures, and observed for apoptosis of cadiocyte, Ⅰcollagen and Ⅲ collagen in cardiac muscles.Results:Compared with those of the model group, all indices of each treatment groups were significantly different (P<0.05). Both being significantly better than other treatment groups in all indices (P<0.05), middle-dose and Captopril group were not significantly different from each other (P>0.05), while the high-dose group was better than low-dose group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Inhibiting left ventricular remodeling by reducing apoptosis of cadiocyte, and expression ofⅠcollagen and Ⅲ collagen, Hairy Antler Liquid is of promising clinical application.
