Abstract:To explore the effect of dietetic therapy on deficiency-cold type gastric ulcer as a complementary therapy of traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: Seventy-two cases of deficiency-cold type gastric ulcer patients were randomly divided to treatment group and control group. The 36 patients in control group received the traditional Chinese medicine only, while the treatment group gave patients the dietetic therapy as a complementary therapy of traditional Chinese medicine at the same time. Both the control group and treatment group received the corresponding treatment for 6 weeks as a treatment course. Results: The total effective rate in treatment group and control group were respectively 97.22% and 88.89%. Significant difference was observed between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion: Dietetic therapy as a complementary therapy of traditional Chinese medicine was effective in the clinic treatment of deficiency-cold type gastric ulcer, which is worthy of clinical application.
