To observe the therapeutic efficacy of “XueyeⅡ” for the chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (CITP). Methods:A total of 68 CITP patients were randomly divided into two groups. group A was treated with “XueyeⅡ” and group B was treated with Prednisone Acetate. Peripheral blood platelet count and bone marrow-plate megakaryocyte cells were counted every three months for both groups. Results: Platelet count and bone marrow-plate megakaryocyte cells had a significant increase in both groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between two groups after three-month treatment. But the efficacy of group A was significant better than group B after six months. The side effect of group A was much lower than group B.Conclusion: “XueyeⅡ” can promote megakaryocyte cells to mature differentiation and also can promote formation of platelet, it has better therapeutic effect than prednisone acetate alone.
