Abstract:To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of Urinary stones. Methods: A total of 284 patients were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group (160 cases) and the control group (124 cases). The treatment group was given acupuncture combined with discharging calculus and relieving pain decoction, while the control group was given the Shenshitong granule for two period of treatment (15 days as 1 period of treatment). Results: The effective rate of the treatment group was 70%, while the control group was 37.1%. The effective rate of the treatment group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine is effective for urinary stones. It is better than the routine treatment of Shenshitong granule.
