Based on the researches of medical talks in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), this article discussed the application of qualitative research theory in TCM clinical research, and it was proved that qualitative research method also can apply to TCM research. The author held that not all of the clinical researches are control study. The content includes overview of qualitative research, qualitative theory in medical talks, qualitative cases in medical talks and clinical practice of qualitative research. This article put forward that it is a good exploration to apply qualitative research in case research for the first time.
