To evaluate the effectiveness of chronic disease management on patients with blood-stagnated type diabetics by TCM family doctors. Methods: Forty-five patients with blood-stagnated type diabetics were given one year chronic disease management by TCM family doctors. In addition to regular chronic disease treatment, patients also received TCM health care knowledge and proper TCM services. Results: The TCM clinical symptoms were significantly improved after the management, including decrease on level of blood glucose and hemoglobin (P<0.01).Conclusion: Chronic disease management on patients with blood-stagnated type diabetics by TCM family doctors shows certain effectiveness.
