Abstract:At present, kinds of fritillaries have emerged in medicine material market, such as Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae, Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergii and Fritillaria ussuriensis Maxim, which will easily lead to improper mixing and misuse. Thus, this paper briefly reviewed the different habitats, detection quota, detection methods, alkaloid content and constituents of fritillary in pharmacopeia published in 2010. The results indicated that the fritillaries recorded in pharmacopeia published in 2010 had different habitats, and the features and main functions were also different. Although the main content of fritillary is alkaloid, the characteristic alkaloid of Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae and Bulbus fritillariae Pallidiflorae was imperaline. However, the content and thin-layer chromatography analysis of Peimine and Peiminine were mainly determined in Fritillaria ussuriensis Maxim and Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergii, meanwhile, alkaloid content of fritillary was also different. Conclusion: Quality standard of fritillary medicine material including thin-layer chromatography and content analysis should be drafted according to characteristic constituent and content.
