To explore the weights of syndrome indexes in TCM clinician reported outcomes of common cold. Methods: Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used in the second round survey with Delphi method so as to select the efficacy evaluation indexes and calculate their weights. Results: The efficacy evaluation indexes of four frequently seen TCM syndromes of common cold including wind-cold， wind-heat， exterior cold and interior heat， summer heat damp were identified， and their weights were determined. Conclusion: In this research， AHP was used to identify the weights of efficacy evaluation indexes of common cold. With this method， the experience of experts can be quantified. And this research has laid the foundation for the development of TCM clinician reported outcome scale for common cold.
