To evaluate efficacy of Kangfu Xiaoyan suppository in the treatment of acute pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods: 182 acute pelvic inflammatory patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group， 91 cases in each. The control group received conventional drug intervention， on top of that the observation group was given Kangfu Xiaoyan Suppository， treatment efficacy was evaluated. Results: Compared to the control group， antibiotics observation group had shorter drug intervention time， fewer adverse drug reactions and recurrence in 3 months after drug discontinuation， better efficacy and lower costs (P<0.05). Conclusion: As add-on treatment of acute pelvic inflammatory disease， Kangfu Xiaoyan suppository can shorten disease duration， reduce adverse drug reactions and the relapse rate after drug discontinuation， therefore is worthy of clinical applications.
