Abstract:To find out the wrong cognition of infertility patients’ behavior when they are seeking medical advices so as to make some recommendations to intervene patients’ behavior. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the behavior of infertility patients’ behavior when they were seeking medical advices. Descriptive statistics and statistical tests were used to analyze the process of seeking medical advices of infertility patients. Results: During the treatment, infertility patients tended to choose the same-sex medical personnel, and higher levels of medical institutions. There were some wrong cognitions during the medical treatment process: the couple did not seek medical advices at the same time; diagnosis of disease was not scientific; treatment time was not appropriate; treatment was not given systematically. Conclusion: Since the particularity of infertility patients’ behavior when they are seeking medical advices, this paper brings out some relevant recommendations from the aspects of government, hospitals and individuals, so as to form reasonable seeking medical advice behavior for patients.
