The research provides an overview of the research progress of Danggui Buxue Decoction， based on literature review of its formula basis， prescription proportion， chemical research and pharmacological research. In recent years， many researchers had dedicated to exploring the inter-relationship between physical basis and pharmacodynamics. Through a large number of experiments to determine the chemical constituents of the different extractions and various pharmacodynamics effective extractions， the chemical constituents of the effective pharmacodynamics were determined.
