To research on effect of Donglingcao tablets on top of intravesical infusion of Elemene for preventing postoperative relapse of superficial bladder cancer.Methods:75 postoperative patients with intermediate and high-risk urothelial tumor of the bladder that performed transurethral resection of the bladder tumor， were randomly assigned into 2 groups. Observation group ( 38 patients) were given Donglingcao tablets on top of intravesical infusion of Elemene， and control group (37 patients) were given intravesical infusion of Elemene only. The patients were followed up for clinical， analytical and cystoscopic evaluations for 2 years. The tumor recurrence rates and side effects after the treatment were evaluated.Results:The recurrence rates were 16.22% of control group 2 years after operation. The recurrence rates were 10.53% of observation group 2 years after operation. The recurrence rate of observation group was lower than that of control group. And there were no significant difference of adverse reactions in two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Donglingcao tablets on top of intravesical infusion of Elemene is safe and effective in preventing superficial bladder tumor recurrence after surgery.
